Does the sound work correctly with other programs (Media Player, etc.)?
Action:
To check for sound in other applications or games:
1) Do one of the following:
a) Use the Control Panel:
1] Open 'My Computer', 'Control Panel', 'Sounds'.
2] Select a .wav file and click the 'Preview' button to hear the sound.
b) Use Media Player or Sound Recorder:
1] Click 'Start', 'Programs', 'Accessories', 'Multimedia', and either 'Media Player' or 'Sound Recorder'.
2] Open a sound or MIDI file by clicking 'File', 'Open', 'C:', 'Windows', 'Media' and double-clicking any of the filenames.
